Frequently Asked Questions

  • Physical Therapy in Oregon has unrestricted direct access. With few exceptions (such as Medicare) you do not need a referral to start services.

If you have questions on your specific insurance please do not hesitate to contact us!

  • PT2U is currently in-network with Medicare, Regence/BSBC, Moda (as of June 1st, 2024), and PacificSource. We take Aetna out of network at the same rates as in-network for most plans. Many other major insurance carriers also allow us to bill out of network at similar rates. We are determining credentialing possibilities for Medicaid and look forward to serving those individuals as well as soon as the network allows new clinics. If you have questions on your specific insurance please contact us!

  • With only a couple restrictions you can opt for out of network or cash pay concierge therapy. For many of our clients with high deductibles or whose insurance requires authorization, who are in overall good health, this is an option they utilize to reduce overall cost.

  • At this time we are focusing on mobile PT services as the Rogue valley’s first 100% mobile physical therapy clinic. This enables us to work with your schedule, reduce costs, and maintain the ability to always work one-on-one with you, without being double booked with another client.

  • All appointments are 100% one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, with their clinical and diagnostic knowledge base. You will also have the same therapist each visit instead of being scheduled with whomever has availability. All follow-up appointments are scheduled by your PT around both of your schedules.

  • After hours or weekend appointments are considered on a case-by-case basis. We strive to maintain a balance of being able to work around our client’s schedules while also maintaining our therapist’s quality of life outside the work environment.

  • PT2U’s home hub is in Phoenix, OR. Our general service area extends Ashland through Central Point on the I-5 corridor, into Jacksonville & Ruch, and into Eagle Point.

Unfortunately Shady Cove, Rogue River, and Grants Pass are currently outside our service area. We hope to be able to provide services to these areas soon as we hire more therapists!

Destinations outside the general service area may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the clinic with any questions.
